WE SAVE LIVES AND SERVE CHILDREN
rescuing and serving children through community focused initiatives in partnership with stakeholders as inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ. We recognize the importance of this unique call to divine service and work to defend it. We therefore consider our role in service as worship to God thus we continually remind ourselves that “Service is a divine responsibility to save lives and give hope to the glory of God”.
WHAT WE DOThat singular goal we started off with of rescuing abandoned babies and rehabilitating orphans and vulnerable children in society has reaped massive rewards. Thanks to our work, we have expanded our focus to key community development initiatives related to women and children in Kenya.
Since 2002, Ripples International has invested $2,000,000 towards the rescue and rehabilitation of sexually abused girls in Kenya. 10 key donors have supported our work from inception until today. We have 3400 documented success stories of girls and babies we’ve rescued from traumatic and humiliating sexual defilement and in many cases inevitable death. Ripples International has rehabilitated 3456 girls, rescued 402 babies and empowered more than 17,000 women with micro-enterprise resources and skills.
That singular goal we started off with of rescuing abandoned babies and rehabilitating orphans and vulnerable children in society has reaped massive rewards. Thanks to our work, we have expanded our focus to key areas that are all a result of our initial work. These key areas are:
- Adili: Our Access to Justice program offers free legal aid and conducts legal workshops around the County.
- Community Services: We empower women and children in society through the establishment of self help groups, education grants to needy children, food distribution exercises in Samburu, civic education workshops and more.
- Boresha Medical Clinic: Offers affordable medical care to the community.
- Leadership seminars: With the aim of improving leadership in the home and community that will help us champion child rights in every home and family.
