1. Where does RI get its resources to support its projects?

3. How can I make a financial donation?

4. How can I be assured that the donations I make will reach the beneficiaries?
Each donation is accounted for directly to the donor. This means that prior to receipt of donation, an understanding on usage, duration and beneficiary has to be reached. Based on these terms, a report for monies donated is submitted through the directors.

5. Can I donate for a specific purpose?
Yes. While making a donation, kindly specify the project that you would like your funds to be designated to and we will ensure that your funds are allocated accordingly. If not specified, we still allocate and report accordingly based on the unmet program needs.

6. Can I sponsor a specific child and how much would it cost?
Yes. The cost to sponsor a children for a year varies depending on the dollar exchange rate, but is approximately 600$ for children in primary school, 1200$ or children living with HIV/AIDS and 1000$ for high school.

7. How do I correspond with my sponsored child?
Your sponsor child's details will be included on their photograph information pack. You will also receive an update on your sponsored child twice a year with a photograph of the child every Christmas season. Kindly note that your sponsored child will respond to any letter or card that you might send to them in the course of the year.

8. Is my donation tax deductible?
It is possible to make a tax deductible donation depending on your location. Kindly contact us for more details.

9. Can I donate gifts in kind?
We kindly request that you do not send gifts in kind to children supported by Ripples International. However, a separate donation can be made for with instructions for specific gifts to be purchased for your child within Kenya.

10. Who do I contact if I have any questions concerning my sponsored child or any question in general?

11. Can I visit the project activities?
Yes! We would be so happy for your to come over and visit our projects and learn more about Ripples International first hand! Feel free to contact us to make arrangements on the same. Please be aware that an administration fees to support logistics may be charged depending on the length and kind of visit, especially when travelling to our projects in the field, due to costs of fuel.
