Who we are
Ripples International Youth Ministry was created with a vision of reaching out to the youth spiritually and facilitating avenues for them to develop the gifts and talents God has put in them. We realize that young people have so much energy and are full of life, and it would be easy for them to channel their energy, talents and gifts in the wrong direction.

RI therefore began a ministry program specifically for the youth. Our youth ministry program was launched on November 24th 2007, with a concert in Meru. We had students from schools, youth groups and children's homes around Meru town who prepared a presentation in form of a dance or song, poem or skit. The event was held in order to showcase young talent, empower them to use their creativity, and challenge each other to develop their talents. Overall the event was a great success and was the start of our Youth Ministry

Programme.
Our desire and hope is to see Young people sold out for God in an era where there is so much negative influence from the media, peer pressure and the world as a whole. We hope to see young people actively involved in their schools, churches and communities, bringing hope where there is despair, encouragement where there is discouragement and showing leadership by using their God given gifts and talents.

Events
Youth Ministry events are planned at different points of the year. We strive, every school holiday, to have an event for young people in the community.
Our outreaches include:
Music concerts and talent shows
Weekend challenges in schools
Debates on various topics
Other services which are facilitated through the Youth Ministry Program are:
Workshops and seminars
Counselling sessions
Games and Sports
Library facilities

How to get involved
Are you a Youth Pastor looking for community events to have your youth participate in? A Christian Union Leader who wants your students to have a creative outlet? Or a individual, who is interested in learning more about themselves as a Christian? If you have the interest to learn, participate and share with others, and empower yourself as a young Christian, then we have activities for you.
